1 year agoColorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon is not in the starting lineup for Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader against the San Francisco Giants. The 37-year-old will take a seat in the opening game while Elehuris Montero serves as the Rockies' DH against San Francisco opener Keaton Winn. Blackmon has quietly been highly productive this season for both the Rockies and fantasy managers, slashing .279/.369/.433 with seven home runs, 36 RBI, and one stolen base over 355 plate appearances. He's only played in 82 games, however, as injuries have taken their toll on the veteran. Blackmon should return as the DH in Game 2 of Saturday's twin bill.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
