Charlie Blackmon Resumes Full Baseball Activities
2 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon (hand) resumed full baseball activities on Monday and did so again on Tuesday after suffering a slight setback last week with his fractured right hand. Manager Bud Black said that he, Blackmon and the athletic training staff will meet to discuss the next step. Blackmon was close to starting a minor-league rehab assignment last week, so hopefully he'll finally be cleared for that as he attempts to return to the major-league roster. The 37-year-old veteran has been on the injured list since June 11, so he could have a fairly lengthy rehab assignment. Blackmon hadn't done much for fantasy managers before his injury, as he was hitting .265/.347/.422 with only five home runs, 26 RBI and 34 runs scored for the Rockies in 211 at-bats.
