3 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon is absent from the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the New York Mets. C.J. Cron will be slotting in as the team's designated hitter, while Randal Grichuk will be in right field. Blackmon is slashing just .167/.231/.300 so far in May. On the bright side, we've seen some better power numbers from the veteran this year than we did last year. He only hit 13 home runs over 150 games in 2021.
