3 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon will take a seat on the bench for Thursday's game against the Atlanta Braves, according to MLB.com. Blackmon has been in a bit of a slump in his last seven games, going 3-for-25 with one extra-base hit. This season hasn't been kind to him as a whole, with him producing a .264/.342/.409 slash line, well short of his .300/.358/.496 career mark. He's added 13 HRs, 75 RBI, 67 runs, and three stolen bases over 137 games. Yonathan Daza will take his spot in right field and bat eighth. Daza is hitting .284 with two home runs and two stolen bases across 97 games. With his limited power, there are probably options on the waiver wire that will provide more value than Daza.--Spencer Seguin
