Charlie Blackmon Lands On The 10-Day Injured List
1 year agoColorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon (hand) has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a right-hand fracture. It's unclear how long the veteran outfielder will be out at this time but the team should provide an update at the end of their game against the Padres on Sunday. The Rockies made a flurry of moves on Sunday but Blackmon hitting the injured list was the headliner. Additionally, they selected the contract of infielder Coco Montes, optioned infielder Alan Trejo to Triple-A Albuquerque, recalled catcher Brian Serven from Triple-A, and transferred starting pitcher Antonio Senzatela to the 60-day injured list. From a fantasy perspective, Montes has an intriguing blend of power and speed but he can be left on the waiver wire outside the very deepest of NL-only leagues.
