Charlie Blackmon Drives In Two Runs With A Single
4 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run scored in a 6-5 win over the Giants on Wednesday. Blackmon put the Rockies on the board in the bottom of the fourth inning when he hit a two-run single off of Logan Webb. He would come around to score in the same frame and picked up another single later in the contest. The struggling 34-year-old has shown signs of life in the month of May, slashing .294/..368/.471 with a home run and six RBI over 17 at-bats. He's finally hitting above .200 on the season for the first time since April 3 as well. He'll look to keep it going in a weekend series against the Cardinals in St. Louis beginning on Friday.
