Charlie Blackmon Dealing With Mild Groin Strain
4 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon is dealing with a mild groin strain, according to manager Bud Black. Blackmon was 3-for-3 with three singles in Friday's game vs. the Reds before he was removed in the bottom of the fourth inning. It's unclear when he sustained the injury but it's nice to hear it's of the "mild" variety. He could be out for Saturday's game vs. Cincinnati as the team may want to give him an extra day of rest. Keep an eye out for the Rockies' lineup release later today.
