Charles Rosa Goes The Distance But Can't Get The Win
4 years agoUnable to get his second victory in a row on Saturday, Charles Rosa (13-5) fell to Darrick Minner in what many predicted beforehand to have Fight of the Night written all over it. As expected, Minner's ground game was too much for Rosa, though Rosa fought hard and escaped submissions. In 15 minutes of action, Rosa landed 15 significant strikes (40 total strikes) and missed his lone takedown try. What really hurt was Minner landing four of his five takedown tries. Rosa is always an exciting fighter and seems to rebound well from losses, so he could be worth considering his next time in the Octagon.
