Chargers Place Hayden Hurst On Injured Reserve
15 seconds agoThe Los Angeles Chargers placed tight end Hayden Hurst (hip) on Injured Reserve on Monday before their Week 12 showdown against the Baltimore Ravens. Hurst, who wasn't on the fantasy radar to begin with, will now miss at least the next four games and won't be eligible to return until Week 16 against the division-rival Denver Broncos at SoFi Stadium on a Thursday night. The 31-year-old veteran only had seven catches on 12 targets for 65 yards and no touchdowns in seven games this year in his first season with the Bolts. Will Dissly will continue to benefit in LA's offense from the absence of Hurst, while Stone Smartt will also have a bigger backup role. Dissly, who had four catches for 80 yards and his first touchdown of the year in the Week 11 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, is in play on Monday night as a low-end TE1 in fantasy against Baltimore.
