Chandler Smith Qualifies 36th For Second-Ever Start
1 year agoChandler Smith will be making his second-ever NASCAR Cup Series start on Saturday night, as he will pilot the No. 13 Chevrolet for Kaulig Racing in this Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona. Smith made his first-ever start at Richmond earlier this season in the same car, and was able to come away with a 17th-place finish after starting back in 37th-place. With the unpredictability of Daytona, we could definitely see a similar performance out of Smith on Saturday night, too. He finished in 12th-place in the Xfinity Series' season-opening race at Daytona earlier this year, for what it's worth. He has high place differential upside in DFS contests and will likely be lower-owned than he should be because he's not a full-time driver. It's worth being overweight on Chandler Smith in DraftKings on Saturday night.
