Chance Adams To Make MLB Debut Against Red Sox
6 years agoThe New York Yankees plan to call up pitching prospect Chance Adams on Saturday to make his major league debut against the Red Sox. Adams is the team's 13th-ranked prospect, but he's struggled at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this year to the tune of a 3-5 record, 4.50 ERA and 1.32 WHIP. He does have 102 punchouts in 98 innings, though. The upside is there in the long term, but no fantasy owners should be looking to use him this weekend in what will probably just be a spot start to fill J.A. Happ's (illness) spot in the rotation.
