Chance Adams’ Future In 2018 Could Go Different Ways
7 years agoNew York Yankees pitching prospect Chance Adams is 23 years old and coming off a sensational 2017 season. Splitting time between Double-A and Triple-A, he went 15-5 with a 2.45 ERA and 1.08 WHIP in 150 innings. While the question of when he will finally debut with the big league team looms larger, the Yankees may be looking at different ways he could see action in the Bronx. While Adams is projected to be a starter, he could eventually be promoted as a relief pitcher. After all, he has experience as a reliever, having been one in college. Considering the Yankees appear to be set on keeping their current set of starters, Adams’ best chance to make the team this season could indeed be as a reliever.
