Chad Pinder Drives In Three Runs Out Of Five Hole
6 years agoOakland Athletics infielder Chad Pinder made the start in Sunday's 9-8 road loss against the Houston Astros, going 2-for-4 with a solo home run and three RBI batting out of the fifth spot of manager Bob Melvin's batting order. He was batting behind DH Kendrys Morales (0-for-5) with All-Star Khris Davis getting a routine day off to rest. Pinder certainly did his best Davis impression with the long ball in the eighth. He is a valuable fantasy option due to his decent pop and his positional versatility from an eligibility perspective.
