Chad Kuhl Exits With Hip Injury On Monday
3 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Chad Kuhl (hip) was coasting through his start against the Philadelphia Phillies on Monday. Unfortunately, his hip flexor began to tighten up after the sixth inning. Rockies manager Bud Black sent him out for warm ups prior to the seventh inning, but decided not to push him. Kuhl pitched six scoreless innings in the game, allowing just two hits and one walk while striking out four. He has now allowed just one earned run over his first 10 1/3 innings of the year. If the injury doesn't keep him out, he'll make his next start on Sunday against the Detroit Tigers.
