7 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Chad Kelly faces an uphill fight if he wants a serious chance at being the starting quarterback for the Broncos in 2018. While it is quite possible that both Brock Osweiler will move on and Trevor Siemian might get traded, Paxton Lynch would remain with the team. Also, most indications suggest that getting a starting quarterback will be the top priority for Denver in the offseason. With the fifth overall pick, there is a good chance they could take one of the top quarterbacks in the draft. They also will be linked to the free agent quarterbacks in free agency. It is expected that Kelly will be healthy in time for training camp but it still is suggested by some that he is currently more of a developmental option at the moment.--Jamie Mellor
