1 year agoThe Toronto Blue Jays activated right-hander Chad Green (elbow) from the 60-day injured list and first baseman Spencer Horwitz from Triple-A Buffalo on Friday and moved pitcher Hagen Danner (oblique) to the 60-day injured list to make room for Green on the active roster. Green will be making his 2023 and team debut after coming back from Tommy John surgery. The 32-year-old veteran reliever looked good in the minors and will give Toronto's bullpen more length as they try to secure a wild-card spot in the American League. Green could become an option for those in deep holds leagues down the stretch. Horwitz, the club's No. 17 prospect per MLB Pipeline, will return to the big leagues after playing in three games for Toronto earlier this year.
