6 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies second baseman Cesar Hernandez (foot) will be sitting on the bench on Saturday while the Phillies take on the Pittsburgh Pirates. Hernandez fouled a ball off of his foot on Friday and it is still a little sore. The Phillies are taking the cautious approach, but Hernandez is still available to pinch hit if necessary. He should be back in the lineup on Sunday. Jesmuel Valentin will be starting at second base in Hernandez's absence. He has no fantasy appeal.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
