Cedrick Wilson Questionable To Return Thursday
Cedrick Wilson (right ankle) is questionable to return against the Raiders on Thursday. The 26-year-old had totaled seven touches for 99 scrimmage yards while filling the No. 2 wide receiver role in the Dallas offense with CeeDee Lamb (concussion) and Amari Cooper (COVID-19) sidelined. Michael Gallup, Noah Brown, and tight end Dalton Schultz will be tasked with filling the void left by Wilson during his absence.

Cedrick Wilson Jr. Throws Touchdown Pass
Cedrick Wilson Jr. had a greater impact throwing the football than catching it in Sunday's 20-19 loss to the Commanders. Wilson threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to Alvin Kamara in the third quarter. In his typical role as a pass catcher, he failed to log a reception and was targeted just once. Wilson did have a 15-yard catch early in the first quarter but it was wiped out due to a holding penalty. Even in the wake of the injuries that have cost the Saints the services of Chris Olave (concussion) and Rashid Shaheed (knee), Wilson has been unable to command significant attention. In his last four games, he has two receptions for 37 yards on three targets and he has a season-long line of 13-159-1. There is not much hope for Wilson as a fantasy asset in 2024.

Cedrick Wilson Jr. Not Startable For Week 15
Cedrick Wilson Jr. has been unable to command an increased role despite the multiple injuries in the team's wide receiver room. Even with top targets Chris Olave (concussion) and Rashid Shaheed (knee) on injured reserve, Wilson's presence in the Saints' offense has been limited, with just four receptions for 71 yards since peaking with a 6-57-1 line in Week 7. Over the Saints' last three games, Wilson has just two targets and in Week 14 saw just one snap more than practice squad signee Dante Pettis (22-21) but ran three fewer routes. Now that Jake Haener is drawing the start in Week 15 in lieu of the ailing Derek Carr (concussion, hand), Wilson's prospects seem even dimmer than usual. Wilson belongs nowhere near a starting lineup in the first round of the fantasy playoffs.

Cedrick Wilson Jr. Avoidable For Week 14
Cedrick Wilson Jr. hasn't done much on the field this season. Last week, Wilson hauled in his lone target for 19 yards in the loss to the Los Angeles Rams. The Saints are banged up at wideout which has put Wilson higher on the depth chart. However, Wilson still hasn't been involved much in the offense lately. At this point, fantasy managers should look elsewhere for help with Wilson having three receptions since Week 9.

Cedrick Wilson Jr. Active, Mason Tipton A Healthy Scratch
Cedrick Wilson Jr. (shoulder) is active on Sunday for the Week 11 contest against the Cleveland Browns, while rookie receiver Mason Tipton is a healthy inactive. With Chris Olave (concussion) on Injured Reserve and Rashid Shaheed (knee) out for the season, the Saints' receiving corps is extremely thin. Marquez Valdes-Scantling has essentially become quarterback Derek Carr's top receiving target now after going for three catches, 109 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 10 win over the division-rival Atlanta Falcons. Wilson, meanwhile, missed two of the last three games with hip and shoulder injuries, but he should have a significant role on Sunday against Cleveland in his return. Still, the 28-year-old should be considered a desperation flex option in deeper fantasy leagues in a Saints offense that runs through running back Alvin Kamara.
