3 years agoDallas Cowboys wide receiver Cedrick Wilson was targeted three times in Week 1, catching all three. He gained 24 total yards, clearly working as the fourth wide receiver on the depth chart. Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, and Michael Gallup combined for 38 targets and were all way ahead of Wilson in all of quarterback Dak Prescott's progressions. Wilson pulled off some big games out of nowhere last season and could always come down with a random long touchdown, but he's too far down on the depth chart and will rarely be anything better than Dak's final read in the passing game.
