Cedric Mullins Knocks A Double In Loss
2 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder Cedric Mullins went 1-for-5 with a double, a run scored, a walk, and a strikeout in a 3-2 extra-innings loss to the Atlanta Braves on Sunday. Mullins notched his sixth double of the season off Bryce Elder in the top of the third inning. He also reached via a walk and scored while serving as the ghost runner in the top of the 10th inning. The dynamic 28-year-old is slashing .250/.359/.427 with four home runs and 28 RBI to go along with 11 steals over 124 at-bats. He's working with a rock-solid 28:21 K/BB ratio, which is great to see after his ugly 126:47 clip from the 2022 season.
