Cedric Mullins Joins 30-30 Club On Friday
3 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder Cedric Mullins went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer and two walks during an 8-5 loss to the Texas Rangers on Friday. The 2021 All-Star connected for his 30th homer of the season off of Rangers starting pitcher Spencer Howard during the second inning. The 26-year-old also became the first player in Orioles' history to reach the 30-30 club and is the only player in the majors this season to hit that mark. On his breakout season, Mullins has posted 30 HR, 59 RBI, 89 R, and 30 SB with a .300/.370/.536 line across 576 at-bats. While some regression should be expected, Mullins will be a hot commodity next season given his activity on the basepaths.
