CC Sabathia Hit Hard In Third Start
6 years agoMaking his first start on the road, New York Yankees veteran CC Sabathia struggled, but would eventually walk away with a no-decision. Pitching in his final professional season, the left-hander went five innings and allowed five runs on six hits, with all the scoring coming via home runs. While it should've been expected that he'd struggle early on after his return, his first two starts at home appeared to signal that wouldn't be the case. The 38-year-old now sports a 2.40 ERA, with his next start scheduled for Tuesday night at Chase Field against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
