4 years agoToronto Blue Jays third baseman Cavan Biggio is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against Tyler Glasnow and the Tampa Bay Rays. Santiago Espinal is getting the start at third base and batting seventh in the game. Biggio was dealing with neck soreness earlier this week, but he started the previous three games and played in the field for the last two after serving as designated hitter on Tuesday. This is likely just a routine off day for Biggio, who has continued to have a rough start to the 2021 season. Through 38 games, he's slashing just .206/.318/.317. Fantasy managers should try to remain patient for at least a little longer due to Biggio's significant upside and the strong lineup supporting him.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
