Casey Mize Has Another Strong Outing On Sunday
4 years agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Casey Mize turned in another strong outing against the Kansas City Royals on Sunday. He pitched 6 1/3 innings and allowed three hits, one walk and one earned run while striking out six. Unfortunately, a blown save by Michael Fulmer cost him the win. Mize has now posted five consecutive quality starts. His ERA is down to 3.42 on the year after he had a 5.06 ERA in April. He should be universally rostered at this point no matter the size of the league. His next start will be on Friday against the New York Yankees.
