6 years agoBuffalo Sabres center Casey Mittelstadt scored his first goal of the season on Saturday night in a loss to the Blue Jackets. His goal came late in the third period on the power play, giving him three points through 11 games this season. While his usage on the top power-play unit is encouraging, he has only managed to register a point this season while on the man advantage. After joining the Sabres late last season, he scored five points in six games but has yet to come close to replicating that production this season. With all of the hype surrounding him this offseason, Mittelstadt has fallen flat in terms of fantasy production and is a safe drop at this point.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
