Case Keenum Once Again an Afterthought
6 years agoWeeks 5 and 6 saw Denver Broncos quarterback Case Keenum average 349.5 passing yards while tossing four touchdown passes -- exceeding his total of three from the three games prior -- and averaging 20.3 fantasy points per game. But, just when we thought he'd turned the corner and returned to the QB we saw lead the Vikings to the NFC Championship game a season ago, he put up 8.8 fantasy points on 161 yards passing against the Cardinals in Week 7. Keenum's Week 8 opponent, Kansas City, has been susceptible to the pass this season - Keenum finished with 245 yards, zero TDs, one interception and 7.8 fantasy points when these two teams faced off in Week 4. I imagine he'll be better this time around, but not enough to warrant consideration outside of deep, 2-QB leagues.
