Case Keenum Offering Little Intrigue Despite Favorable Matchup
6 years agoThe time for Denver Broncos quarterback Case Keenum to reclaim any bit of fantasy football relevance has long passed, but there was a glimmer of hope in Week 13 as he drew a leaky Bengals secondary. Keenum responded by completing 12-of-21 pass attempts for 151 yards with one touchdown, and has now averaged just 184.3 passing yards over his last three contests. A matchup with a struggling San Francisco 49ers squad in Week 14 -- which has allowed three-straight QBs to toss at least two TD passes while surrendering the seventh-most fantasy points to the position on the year -- might seem like one to target. He just hasn't done anything to suggest he'll capitalize. Nonetheless, given the 49ers recent play, Keenum could provide decent returns if looking to go cheap at QB in a DFS contest.
