Case Keenum Finds Himself in QB Heaven
6 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Case Keenum has become a forgotten man among fantasy owners. However, a matchup with a Bengals team which has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing QBs should be more than enough to elicit a few memories, circa 2017. Keenum sits 29th at the position in fantasy points per game - while having thrown for less than 275 yards in seven of 11 contests with a 1.3 TD:Int ratio which ranks seventh-worst among QBs with at least 100 pass attempts. He's played much better in recent weeks, yes, but honestly, it doesn't matter much as Cincinnati has allowed more than two passing touchdowns to go with nearly 300 passing yards per game (both good for the second-most). 2018 has been a disappointment for Keenum and his fantasy owners, but if there were a game to bet on him putting up solid numbers, this would be the one. He offers a solid floor, with plenty of upside, for those looking for a second starter in 2-QB leagues or on a tight budget in dfs.
