Case Keenum Fails to Capitalize on Favorable Matchup
6 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Case Keenum completed 21 of his 33 passes for 245 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception in the Broncos 23-27 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs Monday night. The same Kansas City Chiefs who came into the game allowing the second-most fantasy points to opposing signal callers. After tossing three TDs in Week 1, Keenum has now failed to throw a TD pass in each of the Broncos last three games but has managed to throw at least one interception in each of Denver's four games this season - giving him six on the season (tied for second-most). He's also put up less than eight fantasy points in two-straight games, is averaging a measly 11.8 per game on the season, and should not be trusted -- in any format -- until things get back on track.
