Carter Verhaeghe Scores Fourth Goal Of The Season
4 years agoFlorida Panthers forward Carter Verhaeghe bagged his fourth goal of the year in Thursday's 3-2 shootout loss against Columbus. Eetu Luostarinen grabbed the other goal in Florida's first loss of the season. Verhaeghe had only 13 career points in 52 prior to the season so he hasn't had any fantasy value, but the 25-year-old is now suddenly racking up points in a hurry as a first-line winger and as a center on the second power-play unit. He has six points through four games with 12 shots and a plus-five rating. Verhaeghe is available in most fantasy leagues, so don't hesitate to pick him up if you like his chances of continuing his point streak. He has an awesome schedule coming up as well, with four of the next six games against the poor Red Wings.
