Carter Kieboom To Undergo Tommy John Surgery
3 years agoWashington Nationals infielder Carter Kieboom (elbow) will undergo season-ending Tommy John surgery, according to Nationals manager Dave Martinez. Kieboom had been sidelined all year with an elbow injury. He never had a clear timeline for a return, but it wasn't originally believed he would miss the entirety of the 2022 season until now. Kieboom has struggled during his time in the majors, slashing just .197/.304/.285 over 106 games from 2019 to 2021. Assuming his recovery goes well, there's a chance he'll be ready for spring training next year.
