Carter Kieboom Out Of Lineup For Game 1 Tuesday
4 years agoWashington Nationals third baseman Carter Kieboom (hand) is not part of the starting lineup for Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Philadelphia Phillies. Kieboom left Monday's game after he was hit on the hand by a pitch from Zack Wheeler. It doesn't seem like an injury that should keep Kieboom sidelined too long, but he'll at least be out for the team's first game on Tuesday, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him sit both games out. Josh Harrison is getting the start at third and hitting eighth in Game 1 on Tuesday. Kieboom has struggled in his first extended stint in the majors this year. He's slashing .202/.344/.212 and has yet to hit his first home run of the year. He can be left on waivers in all redraft leagues.
