Carter Hart Gets Back To Winning Ways
5 years agoPhiladelphia Flyers goaltender Carter Hart ended a four-game losing streak with a nice 26-save performance on Wednesday, helping the team beat Washington 3-2. The young goalie has done well in his second year in the league, but he's carrying some horrible road numbers, winning just two of 12 starts and allowing 4.01 goal per game. Luckily for the Flyers, Hart's home numbers are much better and up there with the best of them. He has a 12-1-2 record at the Wells Fargo Center this season with a 1.52 goals-against average and a .945 save percentage. The Flyers play five of their next six games at home, so Hart is in a great position to improve his numbers even further ahead of the All-Star break.
