Carson Wentz Traded To Washington
3 years agoThe Washington Commanders have acquired quarterback Carson Wentz in a trade with the Indianapolis Colts. While the specifics of the trade have yet to be released, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that two third-round picks will be heading to Indianapolis. The 29-year-old Wentz lasted just one year with the Colts, but had a good amount of success. He played in all 17 regular season games and threw for 3,563 yards, 27 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Wentz will certainly be an upgrade in Washington, causing No. 1 receiver Terry McLaurin's fantasy value to rise heading into the 2022 season. Meanwhile, expect the Colts to be shopping for a new quarterback either in the draft or via trade or free agency this offseason.
