4 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz has been off to the side in practice this week because of a soft-tissue injury. It doesn't seem to be causing any concern about his availability for Week 1, however. The Eagles will take on the Washington Football Team in Week 1, and that makes for a good matchup for Wentz. Wentz showed how high his floor was last season, working with literally Nelson Agholor and a bunch of wide receivers you've never heard of for most of the season but still putting up over 4,000 yards and 27 touchdowns. He should have a much higher ceiling this year with a healthy DeSean Jackson and a whole host of rookie wide receivers to go with their powerful tight end duo.
