Carson Wentz Returns, Removed From Reserve/COVID List
3 years agoIndianapolis Colts quarterback Carson Wentz (foot) was officially activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list and participated in 11-on-11 drills on Thursday. It was the first time since July 29 that Wentz participated in a full practice. He is working his way back from foot surgery and is on target to suit up Week 1 against the Seattle Seahawks. The former first-rounder was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list earlier in the week after coming in close contact with a Colts staff member. Wentz threw for 2,620 yards and a 15:16 TD: INT ratio while getting sacked a league-high 50 times over 12 games last season in Philadelphia. The 28-year-old is going as QB28 in FFPC Leagues and is an excellent value in Two-Quarterback/Superflex formats as he looks to bounce back in 2021 after a disappointing 2020 campaign.
