2 years agoWashington Commanders quarterback Carson Wentz went 30-for-46 for 337 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception in Sunday's loss to the Detroit Lions. The seven-year veteran started off the game on a sluggish pace as the Washington offense failed to put up a single point in the first half. However, in the second half, the 29-year-old led four scoring drives in a comeback attempt that ultimately fell short. In his first two weeks with the Commanders, the former Colt has thrown for over 300 yards in both appearances while also throwing a combined seven touchdowns.
