Boston Red Sox reliever Carson Smith suffered a right shoulder subluxation while throwing his glove in frustration, according to Christopher Smith of MassLive.com. He injured his shoulder in the dugout after giving up a homer to Khris Davis of the Athletics. Once the injury calms down, Smith will get a second opinion. He has been a bright spot in the bullpen, as he is 1-1 with a 3.77 ERA and 18 strikeouts in 14 innings. There is no expectation that Smith will return in 10 days, and there is fear that it could put him out for an extended period of time.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
