Carson Hocevar Not Happy With Car But Has Speed At Martinsville
1 day agoCarson Hocevar is an interesting fantasy option at Martinsville Speedway this weekend. The No. 77 Chevrolet was fast on the time charts during practice on Saturday, but when interviewed about his car following practice, you could tell that Hocevar wasn't too happy with his car on the long run. However, Hocevar ranked fourth-fastest in 30-lap average, so the car can't be that bad. As far as track history goes, Hocevar posted a career-best finish of 17th here at Martinsville last season, and the Spire Motorsports teams seem to have a bit more speed this year. At $6,600 on DraftKings, Hocevar makes for an interesting DFS option on Sunday. He's cheap enough to take a risk on, and his 29th-place starting spot gives him great Place Differential upside. Martinsville is a track where a driver needs to be aggressive to make his way through the field, and Hocevar is one of the most aggressive in the Cup Series garage. Even though the Spire Motorsports driver doesn't seem too happy with his car this weekend, it's hard to ignore that long-run speed. Hocevar is a nice low-dollar DFS option this weekend.
