1 year agoCarson Hocevar has been one of the brighter stories of the year in the NASCAR Cup Series, as the Truck Series regular has been pulled to fill in driving the No. 42 Chevrolet for Legacy Motor Club and has far exceeded expectations. Noah Gragson had an average finish of 28.2 while driving this car for 21 races this season, but since taking over the Chevrolet, Hocevar has finished inside the top 20 in all three races, including a very impressive 11th-place finish at Bristol last weekend. This weekend, at Texas, Hocevar was 18th-fastest in practice and then went out and qualified in 19th-place. He looks to be on track to score yet another top-20 finish for Legacy Motor Club in Sunday's Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400.--Jordan McAbee
