1 month agoSpire Motorsports rookie driver Carson Hocevar will start 20th in this week's Bank of America ROVAL 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway's Roval Course. This week will be the first time ever that Hocevar will be racing at the track in any of NASCAR's three national series. In 31 races completed this year as a Cup Series rookie, Hocevar has 20 top-20 finishes, including eight of the last 10 Cup events. At road and street courses, Hocevar has two top-20 finishes, including a third-place run at Watkins Glen, his most recent road course start. In the first practice, Hocevar ranked 14th in five consecutive lap averages, ninth in 10 consecutive lap averages, and 15th in overall lap averages, while in final practice, he ranked 31st in overall lap averages. With favorable equipment capable of placing in the Top 20 regardless of track type and recent consistency this year, Hocevar is a sneaky driver worth consideration for any DFS format.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller
