Carmelo Anthony On Fire From Downtown In Win
7 years agoOklahoma City Thunder power forward Carmelo Anthony was white-hot from downtown in a tight win over the Sacramento Kings on Thursday night. Anthony came out of the gates firing, hitting four three-pointers in the first quarter. He ended up finishing the game with 23 points on 8-for-17 shooting, including seven three-pointers in 34 minutes. After struggling for most of February, Anthony has heated up recently. Over his last three games, he's averaging 22.0 points and 4.7 three-pointers. Moreover, Anthony could be in line for another solid scoring night, as he faces the Golden State Warriors next time out, who give up the sixth most points per game to the power forward position.
