7 years agoThe new first baseman of the Philadelphia Phillies, Carlos Santana, appears to be set at the second spot of the lineup. Manager Gabe Kapler appears intent on having him bat there when the season begins, having hit second in eight of his 10 games played this spring. During this spring, the 31-year-old has hit .208, picking up just five hits in total and driving in three runs. The Dominican native is envisioned as a major player in this Phillies lineup as the club tries to turn things around following a harsh 2017 campaign.--RDelgado
