Carlos Santana Out Of The Lineup Wednesday
3 years agoKansas City Royals' first baseman Carlos Santana isn't starting Wednesday's game against the New York Yankees. He will get the day off after going 0-for-10 with two strikeouts during the first two games of the series. Ryan O'Hearn will replace Santana in the lineup and is batting sixth on Wednesday. O'Hearn can be used as a streamer after hitting .500 (4-for-8) with a triple, homer, and six RBI over his last four games. Santana is slashing .224/.338/.377 in 2021 but has struggled mightily in August. The 35-year-old is 5-for-35 with no extra-base hits across nine games during the month. Fantasy managers in standard 10-12 team leagues can move on from the veteran first baseman.
