Carlos Rodon Set To Make Debut On July 7
1 year agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Carlos Rodon (back) is set to make his season debut on July 7 against the Chicago Cubs. Rodon made another rehab start on Saturday and performed well, per manager Aaron Boone. The 30-year-old lefty has been out all season with a forearm and back issues but it looks like he's ready to get one start in before the All-Star break. Rodon was excellent in 2022, putting up a sparkling 2.88 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, and 237:52 K/BB ratio over 178 innings (31 starts) with the San Francisco Giants. Fantasy managers will need to clear up a spot on their rosters for Rodon's long-awaited activation.
