Carlos Rodon Lands On Injured List With Shoulder Fatigue
3 years agoThe Chicago White Sox placed starting pitcher Carlos Rodon (shoulder) on the 10-day injured list with left shoulder fatigue prior to Wednesday's game against the Minnesota Twins. The move is retroactive to August 8. Relief pitcher Matt Foster was called up from Triple-A in a corresponding move. The news of Rodon's injury is a bit of a surprise as he was coming off of an extremely dominant start and there were no reports of fatigue afterwards. He pitched five scoreless innings against the Chicago Cubs this Saturday, allowing just two hits and two walks while striking out 11. There's no word on the severity of the injury or his timetable for a return at this point, but he'll at least miss his next start.
