5 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals closer Carlos Martinez earned a win on Sunday, pitching 2 2/3 innings while allowing just one hit and one walk while striking out four. Martinez was great in this one, tossing 41 pitches and leading the Cardinals to an extra inning victory. He's the Cardinals closer now that Jordan Hicks (elbow) is out for the season.
