Carlos Hernandez Pitches Six Scoreless Innings On Thursday
3 years agoKansas City Royals pitcher Carlos Hernandez had his best outing of the year against the Chicago White Sox on Thursday. He pitched six scoreless innings, allowing four hits and one walk while striking out four. He earned the win to improve to 2-1 on the year. This was his third start and his longest outing of the year. He's made 15 appearances overall and has a 4.98 ERA. The Royals have a number of injured pitchers and as a result, Hernandez should remain in the rotation for at least the next few weeks. He'll make his next start on Wednesday, facing the White Sox once again.
