Carlos Hernandez Loses Monday's Game
1 year agoKansas City Royals right-hander Carlos Hernandez pitched the ninth inning on Monday, trying to protect a 2-2 tie. However, he allowed a hit and two walks before giving up a walk-off grand slam to Pablo Reyes. Hernandez now owns a 4.20 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, and 29.3% strikeout rate with one save and 11 holds over 55 2/3 innings. With Scott Barlow now in San Diego, the 26-year-old looks like the best candidate for save opportunities, even after his blow up on Monday, so fantasy managers in deep formats may want to add him from the waiver wire.
