Carlos Estevez Keeps Rolling With 10th Save
2 years agoLos Angeles Angels right-handed pitcher Carlos Estevez recorded his 10th save of the season on Thursday, tossing a scoreless ninth inning to close out a 6-5 win over the Baltimore Orioles. It wasn't without drama, as Estevez allowed two hits and a walk to make things interesting. He also struck out a pair. He now has a 1.35 ERA, 1.20 WHIP, and 26 strikeouts in 20 IP. The righty has converted all 10 of his save opportunities and is the clear closer in Los Angeles. He should be rostered in all formats.
